Free Nature Play Day

Laleham Park Hub is stepping up its community activities with a range of new charitable events to support local people.

Laleham Park Hub teamed up with Debbie and Chloe from Nature Makers to offer children the chance to enjoy outdoor and nature activities.

Children enjoyed learning about nature while playing games and taking part in natural art activities. It was a fantastic event where children really connected with nature.

Laleham Park Hub founder Michelle Eden said: “This was a fantastic event where children really connected with nature under the watchful eye of fully trained representatives of Nature Makers. Our approach is to work with other local charities, businesses and organisations to bring benefits to the people of Spelthorne.”

She added: “We want to open the hub in Laleham Park where activities like this will be commonplace and people can come to enjoy the natural setting. We have more events planned for adults as well as children so please sign up to our newsletter to get the details.”

Debbie Houghton from Nature Makers added: “The children really enjoyed their day learning more about nature. Our Nature Makers classes are designed to be fun, educational and inspire creativity through mindful nature art, craft & play for children of all ages. We also have Mindful events for adults that can help us to find calm in this busy world.”

If you would like to hear about future free events like this, please sign up to the Laleham Park Hub newsletter on the home page of our website www.lalehamparkhub.org or email hello@lalehamparkhub.org
