Do you have photos of the Old Sports Pavilion?

Back in the 1950’s a sports pavilion was built in Laleham Park, where families used to come and play cricket, enjoy the outdoors, eat ice cream, participate in games and ladies from the Women's Institute would bring homemade cakes. Unfortunately, that old sports pavilion was knocked down in November 2021.

If you have any old photos of the pavilion in its heyday, we would love to see them.

Laleham Park Hub trustee Michelle Perrett said: “We would love to display these old photos in our proposed hub to show the park community spirit back in the day.”

She added: “Laleham Park is an area that has so much rich history that it is something we really need to remember and protect for future generations.”

Please get in touch by email at hello@lalehamparkhub.org or give us a call on 0330 120 1160, if you have any photos.
